Coatings division

The companies of the Coatings division are combined under the roof of FLH Holding AG (www.flh.ch) and form the FLH Group. The Group includes specialist companies with common core competencies in the area of coating technology. They develop, produce and market water as well as solvent-based coatings on wood, metals, plastics, stone and glass, etc., for industrial and commercial applications.

Wood coatings

In the area of wood coatings and wood protection, the FLH Group develops and produces coatings for industrial wood process and laminate flooring, furniture, carpentry/joinery products and many other wooden surfaces. In this context, the corporate brands Treffert, Feyco, Wenger, Nobs and Pentol are active in the market. Treffert produces mainly wood coatings for industrial applications and, thanks to company-owned production plants and distribution companies, holds an excellent position in the strongly growing markets of China and South East Asia.

Packaging coatings

 

In the packaging coatings area, Schekolin AG in Bendern (FL) develops and produces coatings for various types of packaging made for metal, aluminum, plastic and glass as well as for aerosol cans, tubes, fasteners, jars, covers for foodprocessing, beverages, pharmaceutical products, cosmetics and general filling materials.

Industrial coatings

 

The enterprises Feycolor GmbH (Germany and Austria) as well as Feyco AG (Switzerland) – are active in the extensive business area of industrial coatings. Their products are mainly used on metals and plastics, e.g., in the corrosion prevention, machinery and plant construction as well for rail and commercial vehicles or the coating of plastic window profiles. Special applications in this segment include fire-resistant coatings, pencil, car repair and reflective coatings.

Non-stick and technical coatings

 

Industrielack AG (ILAG) develops and produces non-stick high performance coatings for frying pans, baking dishes and all types of household equipment as well as functional coatings for gardening devices, gliding and easy-to-clean applications as well as coatings for technical problem solutions in many areas. ILAG has established a direct global presence for its products and is also represented by agents in many parts of the word. ILAG has production plants in Lachen (CH) and Shanghai.

Building paints / building conservation

 

The building conservation business is also handled by Schekolin AG. This business area comprises eco-friendly (largely water-based) primers, paints and varnishes for facades, walls, ceilings and floors as well as windows and indoor applications.
